Our Mission
It is our mission to provide quality, affordable housing assistance to eligible families in the City of Marietta and surrounding Cobb County. We are committed to promoting family self sufficiency through partnerships with cooperative agencies that provide training, education, apprenticeships and moral support.
Introduction
The City of Marietta Department of Development Services administers the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Choice Voucher Program, commonly referred to as Section 8.
The Housing Choice Voucher program assists extremely-low and very-low income families to lease decent, safe and affordable housing within its jurisdiction, which covers all Cobb County cities and Unincorporated Cobb County, Georgia.
