Geographic Information Systems
The GIS Department serves City and BLW staff needs as well as the citizens and businesses of the City of Marietta. Utilizing Geographic Information Systems technology, data is provided in a tabular or graphic format by printed or digital media.
The department is the nucleus of the City/BLW GIS network, managing and administrating the land and utility data, software, and technology. We perform routine and specialized maps, reports, and analytical projects for City/BLW departments, engineering firms, planners, local universities and interested citizens.
