The city of Marietta Public Works Department provides a quality environment for the city of Marietta and ensures that the city's roadways, streets, drainage, and bridge infrastructure are safe, clean, and attractive.
The department operates to provide safe public streets, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and facility maintenance services and efficient city fleet management services in support of operating departments through cost-effective planning, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining of public facilities and physical assets. The department manages the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all city-owned public infrastructure.
Traffic Calming Policy
