Sanitation
The Sanitation Division provides the following services:
- Residential garbage collection (twice weekly at rear door)
- Residential curbside recycling collection (weekly)
- Residential curbside waste collection (weekly)
The City of Marietta has established a goal of diverting 25% of the solid waste stream away from landfills. The City has a comprehensive solid waste management program which includes yard waste collection which is converted to compost.
The Sanitation Division is located in the Public Works Building on North Marietta Parkway.
